About Us

We are a very small family of humans and very loved pooches. Most of our adult lives has focussed on ‘doing things' - sometimes for others, sometimes trying to keep others happy, sometimes simply because they are necessary to everyday life, but we never quite got to grips with focussing on ourselves.

Having endured a challenging year where we were craving time out from everyday matters, with no interruptions, we decided to use phone alarms and clocks as counting devices with the intention of no interruptions for 20 minutes – these were great until we kept looking at the clock wondering how much of the 20 minutes were left – this coupled with the alarm and notification at the end of the 20 minutes was like a huge jolt back into reality, we then switched to timed candles.

Candles once alight, allowed our focus to change – they truly allowed for no distractions. We light our candles individually and spend our time alone, with the other person looking after the dogs and managing postal interruptions, or just taking a walk allowing peace and quiet in the home - this works for us and we certainly did not know how much we needed these moments. We feel recharged, and reset to continue our day.

We now use our 20 minutes as time out on a daily basis now - and use the time for whatever we feel is right for us on that particular day.

One of our wishes was to source natural products, our beeswax is 100% natural, our boxes are FSC certified demonstrating our commitment to responsible sourcing. Our holders are sourced from the UK. All of our items are sourced from sole and small business owners, and it feels really good to be supporting others, who together with us, are providing a product that supports and help us, to help others.

Based in Warwickshire, a beautiful spot away from the hustle and bustle of city life.
